The Vice President and flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party(NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia commissioned an ultra-modern, two-storey Ghana Police Shop at the Police Headquarters in Accra on Wednesday.
It is a dedicated shop where officers of the security services can purchase additional uniforms and other items to support what they are officially provided. Police officers outside Accra can purchase the items online and have them delivered to their stations.
The shop also stocks institutional souvenirs that come in handy during international exchange programmes.
Dr. Bawumia commended the leadership of the Ghana Police Service for the innovation, He urged them to make the maintenance of the facility a priority and thanked all stakeholders who contributed to its realisation.
