WE WILL INTRODUCE CREDIT SYSTEM TO HELP GHANAIANS BUY MORE EASILY – DR. BAWUMIA

The NPP flagbearer and Vice President of Ghana, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has said that a new credit scoring system will soon be introduced in Ghana to help citizens make purchases more easily.

Speaking at Nandom during his constituency-focused tour, Dr. Bawumia explained that this system, similar to those in the UK, Germany, and the United States, will allow Ghanaians to buy items on credit and pay in small, manageable installments.

Dr. Bawumia shared his vision for the credit scoring system, which aims to make life easier for everyone, from workers to farmers.

This means you can buy things like fridges, cars, and phones without having to pay the full amount upfront

Despite some skepticism from the opposition, Dr. Bawumia remains confident in the plan’s success, believing that once the system is operational, it will be a game-changer for Ghana.

Our friends in the NDC think it is not possible, but it is possible. We are going to introduce it before they know it, and very soon, when the system starts working, the NDC will come and say they started it. They will come and say they started. You heard them saying that they started free SHS, haven’t you?

This initiative is part of Dr. Bawumia’s broader goal to make Ghana comparable to developed countries, where people have access to financial tools that improve their lives. He emphasized his commitment to bringing positive changes to Ghana and helping citizens manage their money more effectively.
