FREE SHS MOST IMPACTFUL SOCIAL INTERVENTION — BUILSA OVERLORD

The Paramount Chief of the Builsa Traditional Area, Nab Azagsuk Azantilow II, has lauded the government’s flagship Free Senior High School (FSHS) program as the “most far-reaching social intervention of our time.”

Speaking in Sandema in the Builsa North Constituency last Friday, Nab Azantilow highlighted the impressive achievements of the President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia administration. However, he emphasized that the FSHS policy, which increased secondary school enrollment by over 600,000 in seven years, stood out for its significant impact on Ghana’s development.

Nab Azantilow praised the wide-ranging benefits of the FSHS program, noting that it had also positively impacted his traditional area.

“Notwithstanding its few challenges, the Free SHS program remains uncontestably the most far-reaching social intervention of our time,”

he stated.

The Builsa Overlord also commended Dr. Bawumia’s victory in the NPP Presidential primary, describing it as an affirmation of his

“sterling qualities as a politician, leader, and human being.”
