DR. BAWUMIA HIGHLIGHTS GOVERNMENT’S INITIATIVES AMID CAMPAIGN TOUR

During a recent campaign tour in the Upper East Region, Vice President and NPP flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia underscored the significant impact of the government’s initiatives on Ghanaians, despite facing numerous challenges over the past seven years.

At a stakeholders’ engagement in Yagaba Kubori, Dr. Bawumia outlined the government’s key projects and reforms, which he believes have brought lasting benefits to citizens and future generations.

“Despite a myriad of challenges, this government has introduced and continues to implement many initiatives that have far-reaching impact, even for generations unborn,”

Dr. Bawumia stated.

Highlighting specific achievements, Dr. Bawumia mentioned the issuance of a National ID Card and Mobile Money Interoperability, which have enabled access to financial and government services. He also cited the Free SHS and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) programs, which are preparing Ghana’s youth for the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

Dr. Bawumia’s remarks were echoed by Nab Azagsuk Azantilow II, the Paramount Chief of the Builsa Traditional Area, who praised the government’s numerous achievements in health, digital technology, and infrastructure. The Builsa Overlord invoked divine blessings on Dr. Bawumia’s campaign, expressing hope to meet him as President of the Republic in 2025.
