WE PRAY NPP REMAINS IN POWER – ASHANTI YOUNG POLICE RECRUITS

Information suggests a mix of excitement and concern among young police recruits in the Ashanti Region, who are earnestly hoping that the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) will remain in power.

These recruits are eager for the NPP to continue governing so that the impressive police housing project seen in the Greater Accra Region can be replicated in their own region. Many young officers have been impressed by the government’s recent gesture and are hopeful that a similar project will be developed in the Ashanti Region.

Their hopes rest on the NPP winning the upcoming December 7 elections, as they fear that a change in leadership could jeopardize their aspirations.

Following the inauguration of a 320-unit police housing project at Tesano in Accra last week, Inspector General of Police Dr. George Akuffo Dampare praised President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and the NPP for their unprecedented support to the Police Service. The new housing, located within the Police Training School and equipped with modern facilities, aims to resolve long-standing housing issues for the service.

Some officers, speaking anonymously, expressed their hope that, under Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s leadership, the next NPP administration will extend such beneficial projects to the Ashanti Region.

We have seen the impressive housing project at Tesano and hope for a similar development here in Kumasi. This government has made significant contributions to the police and other security agencies, and we wish for them to remain in power so that we can also benefit,

the officers shared.
