THREE NDC SEATS IN THE EASTERN REGION ARE LOST TO BAWUMIA.

Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia greeted Nene Sakite of Lower Manya Krobo during his visit to the constituency.

The atmosphere in the Asuogyaman, Lower Manya, and Yilo Krobo constituencies was electric as Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the ruling New Patriotic Party, made his tour.

In contrast to previous visits, thousands of people gathered at the various meeting spots to hear Dr. Bawumia’s message, which was met with enthusiastic cheers and applause.

The unprecedented turnout enjoyed a variety of songs created by different musicians for the NPP’s 2024 campaign, which has commenced in full swing.

On this occasion, the Vice President shared his policy proposals with the large crowd, urging them to vote for him not only as president but also for the NPP’s parliamentary candidates.

Dr. Bawumia stressed that voting for him would bring about “bold solutions,” whereas voting for his main opponent, former President John Mahama, would mean opting for “old solutions.”

He highlighted his accomplishments as Vice President, including resolving generational issues, and promised to do even more as president.

Dr. Bawumia outlined his new ideas and bold solutions, such as implementing a new tax system, training one million young Ghanaians in coding and software applications, revising the National Service Scheme, and introducing a Ghana Card for passport policy.

He also compared the achievements of the NPP and NDC, showcasing the NPP’s superior performance in education, economic indicators, healthcare, tourism, sports infrastructure, digitalization, and more.

He pointed out the NPP’s flagship programs, including Free SHS, One District One Ambulance, expanded health insurance, free basic education and school feeding, the District Road Improvement Program, LEAP, and reinstated allowances for nurses and teacher training.

Dr. Bawumia highlighted the NPP’s commitment to security, noting the recruitment of over 30,000 personnel and the One District One Factory initiative, which has generated jobs and boosted local economies.

He urged the party’s supporters to work hard to secure victory in the 2024 presidential and parliamentary elections.

One person said,

Dr. Bawumia’s message was clear: he is the candidate with bold solutions for Ghana’s future, and the NPP has a proven record of improving the lives of Ghanaians across the country.

A young woman who attended the event expressed,

We are ready to vote for the NPP this time because we believe Bawumia has the solutions to change the country’s destiny.

Another constituent added,

The turnout to see Dr. Bawumia was extraordinarily large. It’s unprecedented for the NPP to draw such a crowd here. Things will definitely shift for the party in the December elections.
