WE DON’T NEED TO GO BACK TO A LEADER WHO WOEFULLY FAILED AND ONLY FULFILLED 28% OF HIS PROMISES – BAWUMIA JABS MAHAMA.

The flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has criticized former President John Dramani Mahama, claiming that he fulfilled only 28% of his promises during his tenure. Dr. Bawumia argues that this record of unmet commitments demonstrates a significant failure in leadership and governance. He insists that such a track record disqualifies Mahama from consideration as a candidate in the 2024 general election.

Dr. Bawumia elaborated on his point by highlighting several key areas where he believes Mahama’s administration fell short, including infrastructure development, economic management, and social services. He contends that Mahama’s unfulfilled promises reflect a broader pattern of inefficiency and unmet expectations, which, in his view, undermines confidence in Mahama’s ability to lead effectively.

The Vice President argues that voters should consider the historical performance of candidates when making their choices, stressing that returning to a leader with a proven record of unfulfilled promises would not benefit the nation. He calls on the electorate to support a candidate with a demonstrated track record of delivering on commitments and effectively addressing the country’s challenges.

Dr. Bawumia’s comments are part of a broader campaign strategy to emphasize the accomplishments of the current administration and to position himself and the NPP as the better options for the future. He believes that by contrasting his own record with that of Mahama’s, he can make a compelling case for why he should be the preferred choice in the upcoming election.
