The running mate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, also known as NAPO, has emphasized that the Akufo-Addo administration has surpassed any previous government in Ghana’s history.
Speaking at the official launch of the Ashanti Regional NPP Campaign Working Committees and Women’s Conference in Kumasi, Dr. Prempeh highlighted the government’s notable achievements across various sectors.
He urged party members to rally behind the NPP under Bawumia’s leadership to secure victory in the 2024 general elections.
No administration has governed the country and started the construction of 111 hospitals. No government in Ghana has built schools like Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo. No administration has established universities to the extent that Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has,
No government has hired over 200,000 nurses and doctors like Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, nor employed teachers to the same extent. Moreover, no administration has faced such severe hunger, a pandemic, and provided free food, electricity, and water as Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s government has.
Even the LEAP program for the poor has been increased three times under Nana Addo, benefiting about 300,000 people. While I acknowledge these achievements, I believe Dr. Bawumia will build on them even further as President. I want to commend Nana Addo before Dr. Bawumia takes over,
