THE NPP WOMEN’S ORGANIZER FOR ASHANTI URGES SUPPORTERS TO ESHEW POLITICAL INSULTS

Nana Ama Ampomah, the Ashanti Regional Women’s Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has urged party supporters to avoid engaging in politics characterized by insults, vindictiveness, and internal conflicts.

She emphasized that such an approach is essential for maintaining peace and stability, which will ultimately contribute to the party’s success in the upcoming 2024 general elections.

Nana Ama highlighted the necessity for party members to steer clear of hatred and actions that could damage the party’s reputation, advocating instead for unity and mutual understanding to fortify the party at the grassroots level.

During her appearance on M’abato3 on Akoma 87.9fm in Kumasi with William Evans-Nkum, she appealed to members to refrain from hate speech in order to attract a broader audience to the party.

She called for constructive criticism to promote a united front aimed at achieving the goal of “breaking the eight.” Furthermore, she encouraged party members across the region and the nation to communicate the positive policies and accomplishments of the Akufo-Addo administration.

Nana Ama also urged the Council of Elders, patrons, and members of the disciplinary committee to operate within the legal and ethical frameworks of the party to foster peace and stability.

Additionally, she called upon the party’s leadership to adequately support the youth, ensuring they are empowered to work diligently towards fulfilling the party’s objectives.

Breaking the eight is possible, doable and achievable, but it requires unity and cooperation among supporters to win the presidential slot and majority seats in parliament in 2024.
