NDC CONSISTENTLY TAKES OUR IDEAS – MIRACLES ABOAGYE

Dennis Miracles Aboagye, the representative for the Bawumia Campaign Team, has asserted that the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) and its presidential candidate, John Mahama, persist in appropriating policies and concepts from the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Miracles Aboagye contended that the NDC frequently borrows ideas from the NPP, yet they fail to grasp the full essence of these concepts as they do not originate from them.

During his appearance on the Asaase Breakfast Show on Tuesday, August 13, Miracles Aboagye expressed this viewpoint.

It is public knowledge that the NDC consistently steals from the NPP in terms of ideas.

You cannot give me even one evidence of the NPP stealing any idea from the NDC.

And let me give you one indication. So we’ve had an opposition leader who has been an opposition leader for close to eight years. A de facto flag bearer has been a perennial leader of the NDC, now, he sits down, we elected our flagbearer in November, barely seven, eight months ago, and he’s going to launch his manifesto on Sunday (18 August).

And the flagbearer of the NDC, who has been a perennial leader of the NDC and an opposition leader for eight years, still has not indicated when he’s going to launch his manifesto.

He asserted that the NDC is anticipating the release of its manifesto to appropriate its policies.

And let me tell you what’s going to happen, they wait, we go in on Sunday, launch a manifesto. They look at the framework we have developed, look at the policies, and begin to steal.

So however you say, I’ll create one million jobs, they will come and say, We’ll create two million jobs. Whatever you say, I’ll give this to the hairdressers. They’ll come and say, I’ll give it to dressmakers and hairdressers. And that is a fact.

He asserts that the NPP has fallen prey to the NDC’s acts of theft.

Yes, there’s some thievery. But there’s a culprit and there’s a victim. And we are the victims, and the NDC is the culprit.

So we came back in 2017 and we set the country on a particular path, i.e. make life convenient for the citizens, provide the necessities for every Ghanaian everywhere to thrive, to at least aspire to be great.
