WE’LL SUPPORT YOU AND BAWUMIA – TEPA PARAMOUNT CHIEF TELLS NAPO

The Paramount Chief of Tepa Traditional Area, Dr. Nana Adusei Atwenewa, has pledged his and his people’s support to a government that fulfills its promises. He emphasized their unwavering support for the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), particularly for Hon. Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, whom he commended as results-oriented.

Dr. Atwenewa also committed to supporting the NPP’s parliamentary candidate for the Ahafo Ano North Constituency and Director-General of the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO), Nana Agyeman Prempeh, for his role in driving numerous developmental projects in the constituency.

You are one of our own and a royal. We cannot reject you, especially since you have delivered. Tepa will support you and Dr. Bawumia to continue making progress. We will also support Nana Agyeman Prempeh for his leadership in advancing development within Tepa and its surroundings,

These comments were made during a meeting of the Tepa Traditional Council with the NPP vice-presidential candidate, Hon. Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, and his campaign team on Wednesday, August 21, 2024.

The meeting was also attended by Imams, Zongo Chiefs, members of the clergy, and leaders of various identifiable groups.

Following the meeting, the NPP running mate visited Tapa SHS to inspect the construction of a state-of-the-art library funded entirely by the parliamentary candidate, Nana Agyeman Prempeh.

He spoke to students at Tepa SHS, Maaban SHS, and Tepa Nursing and Midwifery College, highlighting the NPP’s accomplishments in education. He also addressed a rally at the Tepa Lorry Station.

Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh concluded his day by continuing his constituency-focused campaign in the Ahafo Ano South East and Ahafo Ano South West Constituencies. There, he engaged with the chiefs and residents of Abesewa, Ahwerewam, Sabronum, Adugyama, and Mankranso.

He urged support for the NPP presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, and the respective parliamentary candidates, Frederick Acheampong and Elvis Dapaah.
