REJECT ‘DIVISIVE’ MAHAMA – NAPO

Former President John Dramani Mahama has been characterized as a polarizing figure, rendering him unsuitable for a return to the presidency of Ghana.

Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the vice-presidential candidate alongside Dr. Bawumia, expressed this opinion, emphasizing the necessity for a leader capable of fostering national unity.

He noted that Mahama’s public statements often lead to divisions and heightened tensions among the populace, which is regrettable. In contrast, he asserted that Dr. Bawumia, the presidential candidate from the NPP, embodies the qualities of a unifier, making him the ideal candidate for the nation’s highest office.

The president should be the father of the country and its citizens, so we need Dr. Bawumia, who has the traits of a unifier.

Dr. Prempeh asserted that John Mahama frequently resorts to tribal rhetoric to advance his political goals, noting that “Mahama previously claimed that the NPP is an Akan political party.”

This same John Mahama also stated that the NPP will never allow Dr. Bawumia, who is from the north, to lead them as their presidential candidate.

Dr. Prempeh, known as ‘Napo’, expressed his disapproval of the divisive remarks made by John Mahama, asserting that a former president ought to conduct himself in a more dignified manner.

John Mahama boldly stated that there is no way that the NPP will allow Dr. Bawumia, who’s a northerner, to lead them as their presidential candidate.

Dr. Bawumia is now the proud presidential candidate of the NPP, so what will John Mahama say now?

He asserts that Ghanaians constitute a unified community with a shared future, thus indicating that John Mahama should refrain from employing tribal tactics to further his aspirations.

Napo characterized Dr. Bawumia as a leader focused on development and unity, urging voters to support him in guiding the nation towards prosperity.

Dr. Bawumia is a unifier, and he is also leading the NPP, which is a national political party, so we should vote for him to unite and lead the country forward.
