Elizabeth Ohene, Chair of the Social Security and National Insurance Trust (SSNIT), has praised Ghana’s socio-economic advancements under the New Patriotic Party (NPP) leadership.
Speaking at the NPP manifesto launch on August 18, she highlighted that the Akufo-Addo-Bawumia administration has focused on meeting the basic needs of every Ghanaian, including access to shelter, food, education, and healthcare.
According to Madam Ohene, the government’s efforts have notably reduced the disparity between the rich and the poor, making life’s essentials more affordable for all citizens.
The NPP government is deeply committed to inclusivity, equity, and justice. Over the past two terms, we have worked diligently to achieve these objectives through targeted social interventions, enhancing existing programs, reviving those that were lost, and introducing new initiatives,
She emphasized the government’s vision of creating a society where every citizen, regardless of their circumstances, can live with dignity and hope.
Madam Ohene encouraged Ghanaians to support the NPP for another term, underscoring the importance of continuity in the party’s mission to build a more just and compassionate Ghana.
