Nana Barima Osei Hwedie II, the Chief of Ejura, has praised His Excellency Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the Vice President and presidential candidate of the NPP, for his reliable leadership and dedication to the advancement of Ejura and the nation as a whole.
The Chief emphasized that Dr. Bawumia is a man of integrity, making him a trustworthy figure capable of fulfilling his commitments. Additionally, he recognized the contributions of Dr. Bawumia’s Running Mate, Hon. Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, highlighting his transparency and significant accomplishments, especially in the fields of education and energy.
Nana Barima II made these remarks during a durbar on Thursday, August 29, 2024, in the Ejura Sekyidumase Constituency, which was attended by traditional leaders, Imams, community influencers, representatives from various groups, market vendors, students, and residents, to welcome Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh and his team.
I know Dr. Bawumia personally and have worked with him. I can say on authority that he is a man that can be trusted to do what he says he will do. We can all attest to the fact that when he said he would tackle the Ejura water crisis, he delivered.
When he also promised to build a hospital for us, he delivered. I can go on and on. When we vote for him to be President, Ejura and Ghana will see massive transformation. Dr. Bawumia is also receptive. So, I can go to his office anytime to demand our share of the national cake.
Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, commonly known as NAPO, recently conducted a tour in Anyinasu and Sekyedumase, where he engaged with traditional leaders and other key stakeholders in the community.
During these interactions, he sought support for his superior, Dr. Bawumia, as well as for the party’s parliamentary candidate, Gifty Mboma, who is anticipated to reclaim the Ejura-Sekyidumase seat for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP).
Following this, the NPP Running Mate visited the Afigya-Sekyere East and Kwabre East constituencies, continuing his community engagements with Chiefs, religious figures, and other important stakeholders in the Agona, Wiamoase, Abira, and Kenyase areas.
While highlighting the unparalleled achievements of the New Patriotic Party, NAPO encouraged the populace to endorse Dr. Bawumia’s vision and his innovative solutions for the nation.
He urged the community members to cast their votes decisively for the party’s parliamentary candidates, Mavis Nkansah Boadu for Afigya Sekyere East and Onyiwa Acheampong for Kwabre East.
