WE WILL RESIST LGBTG+ WITH EVERYTHING IN US – DR. BAWUMIA AFFIRMS

Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has reaffirmed his commitment to safeguarding the religious, moral, and cultural integrity of the Ghanaian populace, asserting that there will be no tolerance for LGBTQI+ activities during his tenure.

While addressing the tribal council of chiefs in Kasoa as part of his campaign tour in the Central Region, the NPP presidential candidate emphasized his determination to combat such practices using all means at his disposal.

Dressed in the colors of red, white, and blue, supporters of the elephant party in the Awutu Senya East constituency gathered in large numbers on the streets of Kasoa to welcome Dr. Bawumia.

The campaign team visited the Awutu Senya East and West constituencies to garner additional support for the party’s continued governance. In Kasoa, Dr. Bawumia first engaged with party supporters and local traders at the Kasoa market, where he shared key elements of his manifesto.

Later, the team was received at the palace of the Kasoa Odikro, where he interacted with the council of tribal chiefs. The chiefs expressed their endorsement of the NPP candidate and praised Dr. Bawumia for avoiding derogatory political rhetoric as the December 7 elections approach.

You have changed the face of politics in Ghana. We like the way you carry yourself and dwell on your policies. Now politics of insult is over. We are hopeful that by next year Ghanaians would have spoken.

The Vice President called upon the residents of Awutu Senya East to support his candidacy with their votes in order to secure the presidency, pledging his strong commitment to oppose LGBTQI+ activities during his administration.

Since independence, all vice presidents produced in Ghana have not worked more than I have. I introduced 33 different policies as vice president. My opponent cannot even boast of one policy that he has introduced. This shows that I have passed the vice-presidential test so promote me to become president.

LGBTQ will never happen under my watch. We will resist it with everything in us.

He also criticized his primary opponent, John Dramani Mahama, referring to him as a second-rate president.

If you vote for John Mahama back to power, you have voted for home-used second-hand president. But if you vote for me, the country will have brand new tear-rubber president so vote for me.
