Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the Vice President and the candidate representing the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), has asserted that he has fulfilled his responsibilities during his tenure as Vice President, urging Ghanaians to cast their votes in his favor during the forthcoming elections on December 7.
While campaigning in the Awutu Senya East Constituency in the Central region on Monday, September 2, Dr. Bawumia expressed to the Odikro of Kasoa that he considers himself the most effective Vice President Ghana has had since gaining independence.
He emphasized that his extensive experience in this role positions him as the most qualified candidate for the presidency in the upcoming elections.
In outlining his accomplishments that he believes substantiate his claim as the best Vice President, Dr. Bawumia pointed to his involvement in the implementation of 33 government policies under his leadership.
He contrasted his achievements with those of former President John Dramani Mahama, whom he criticized for failing to accomplish significant initiatives during his vice presidency.
Dr. Bawumia called upon Ghanaians to support his presidential aspirations as the nation prepares for the elections on December 7, 2024.
I have implemented 33 different policies as Vice President. The former President cannot point to one. He does not have one as Vice President. There is none. I can point to them.
So, it means that I have passed the job as a Vice President. So, vote for me so I become President.
I am a Vice President so if you vote for me, you will get a brand-new tear rubber President. When you vote for the former president, you will get home used secondhand President.
