The Volta Region Resource Group of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has urged Ghanaians to vote massively the party’s flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in the upcoming elections.
According to the group, the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and Bawumia administrations have greatly developed the country although they faced many challenges including a global health and economic challenge.
The group’s General Secretary, King David Akpabli praised the Nana Addo-led government for its performance during the early part of its second term, adding that the progress was heavily impacted negatively by the global COVID-19 pandemic.
He said:
“Despite the challenges posed by COVID-19, President Nana Addo and Dr Bawumia were steadfast in their efforts to protect Ghanaians. Their commitment during this period deserves recognition.”
“Dr. Bawumia is a generational thinker with a progressive vision for the country. His leadership will ensure Ghana competes favourably with the developed world.”
The General Secretary concluded that political success is measured by development and listed the many improvements under the NPP government, which covered health, education, infrastructure, and access to potable water.
