Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has escalated his grassroots campaign in Accra through unexpected visits to transportation hubs and marketplaces.
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) candidate has embraced a dynamic approach, engaging with the public in various settings, including markets, lorry stations, and residential areas.
He made a notable appearance at the renowned Neoplan Station located at Kwame Nkrumah Circle in Accra. The presence of Dr. Bawumia elicited enthusiasm among drivers, vendors, and onlookers, who greeted him warmly, with many shaking hands and some even embracing him in a display of genuine excitement.
In his characteristic manner, Dr. Bawumia took the opportunity to exchange friendly remarks with numerous individuals who gathered to see him, fostering a sense of connection with the crowd.
Additionally, the Vice President made an unannounced visit to the Telecel office, formerly known as Vodafone, where he engaged with the employees.
He then proceeded to Kaneshie market, where he was warmly welcomed by traders and shoppers, who celebrated his presence by chanting his name and rallying behind his “It Is Possible” slogan in support of his campaign.
Dr. Bawumia experienced a similarly enthusiastic reception during his visit to Abeka market and Nii Boi Town, where he also took the time to interact with community members on a personal level.
