WE NEED TO BUILD A STRONGER PARTY ESSENTIAL FOR ELECTION VICTORY – DR. CHARLES DWAMENA, NPP TREASURER

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) treasurer, Dr. Charles Dwamena, also referred to as Dr. “China,” has organized party members to increase their backing for the party and vice president Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in the run-up to the general elections in 2024.

During the weekend, Dr. “China” spoke to Electoral Area Coordinators and Constituency Officers, emphasizing the necessity for cooperation and active participation to guarantee a successful election result.

Dr. Dwamena compared the election campaign to a road trip, emphasizing the importance of the road, driver, and vehicle.

“The road is motorable, and our driver, Dr. Bawumia, has the necessary experience to lead us to victory. However, the vehicle—our party—must be in top shape, and that requires every member’s contribution,” he said.

The National Treasurer of the NPP emphasized the value of paying membership dues, pointing out that doing so not only gives the party financial support but also enhances members’ sense of community.

He reminded local executives that members’ contributions will guarantee the party’s preparedness for the next election and asked them to make this their top priority when instructing members on how to pay dues.

Dr. “China” visited Manhyia South, Atwima Nwabiagya, Oforikrom, and Subin seats as part of his continuous tour of Ashanti Region constituencies, increasing his total number of constituency visits to 79.

He commended the commitment of constituency executives, who have been working nonstop to mobilize support for the NPP’s “Breaking the 8” agenda, and gave them the assurance that, should the party stay in power in 2024, their efforts would be acknowledged and rewarded.

Executives from the constituency expressed appreciation for Dr. “China’s” hands-on leadership, and many promised to step up their efforts to support Dr. Bawumia.

In order to win the next elections, they also emphasized how crucial it is to draw attention to the accomplishments of the Akufo-Addo-Bawumia administration.
