The Kumasi Old Tafo Drivers Alliance has issued a heartfelt and emotional appeal to Ghanaians, urging them to cast their votes massively for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), in the upcoming 2024 general elections.
The group, made up of taxi drivers, passionately expressed their belief that Dr. Bawumia, who currently serves as Vice President of Ghana, is the only leader with the vision and capability to alleviate the economic struggles facing the country. According to them, his policies and leadership are what Ghana needs to navigate through the current economic crisis.
In a video shared on X, the drivers are seen on their knees, visibly distressed, as they cry out for Dr. Bawumia’s intervention. They pleaded with him to step in and rescue them from the severe hardships they face in their daily lives, stating that they see no other candidate with the ability to bring about the necessary change. The drivers emphasized their belief that Dr. Bawumia’s leadership can restore hope and economic stability for Ghanaians.
