WE ARE CONFIDENT THAT YOUR ‘BOLD SOLUTIONS’ WILL CONTRIBUTE POSITIVELY TO GHANA – LA TRADITIONAL COUNCIL

The La Traditional Council has conveyed its confidence that Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the NPP flagbearer, and current Vice President, will implement “bold solutions” policies that will lead to the progress desired by Ghanaians, should he be elected President.

During a courtesy visit to the La Traditional Council as part of his tour of the La Dadekotopon Constituency, Nii Adjei Koofeh IV, La Shikitele, expressed his belief that the NPP flagbearer will bring about “real change” during his presidency.

We have challenges with our progress…We know you have put together bold solutions. We will tell you that bold solutions should cause real change.

We are 32 years into the 4th Republic but the change that Ghanaians are yearning for has not still arrived. So, we hope you and your team will work hard to bring that change.

The La Shikitele urged Dr. Bawumia to ensure that his diligent efforts do not go to waste upon assuming the presidency, stating.

You have laboured to tour the nation, putting in resources and time. There are times you and your team do not even sleep. If all the time you’ve gone round the country, what you’ve told the people and you come and there is no change, then it comes to nothing.

As we know you that you go by your word, we hope that you are really going to work to bring change to Ghanaians for La to also have its fair share…We wish you well and we hope you are going to get what you want. We, as the people of La, we are going to pray for you and your team. That the elders will guide you through your campaign and that nothing untoward will happen to you. That whatever you are seeking for, at the end of the counting of votes, you shall have it.

Dr. Bawumia elaborated on several of his policies to the traditional leaders, emphasizing his intentions to foster enhanced development collaboration between his administration and the traditional authorities.

He also discussed his business-friendly tax policies, initiatives for responsible and sustainable mining, advancements in mechanized agriculture, modern educational reforms, the transition to a digital economy, and his commitment to empowering the youth through digital training, Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), and entrepreneurial support.

The Vice President is actively campaigning throughout the country and is presently in the Greater Accra Region.
