STOP THE INSULTS; LET’S HAVE A ONE-ON-ONE DEBATE IF YOU ARE CONFIDENT IN YOUR BELIEFS – DR. BAWUMIA

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has criticized former President John Mahama regarding his recent outburst directed at the nation’s religious and traditional leaders.

During a campaign event in the Okaikwei North constituency of Accra, Mr. Mahama, the leader of the National Democratic Congress, expressed his discontent with Chiefs, Pastors, Imams, and Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), accusing them of favoring the New Patriotic Party and its candidate, Dr. Bawumia.

He urged these groups to denounce the government for what he perceives as “wickedness” towards the citizens of Ghana. In response, Dr. Bawumia contended that Mahama’s lack of innovative ideas has led him to unjustly attack these organizations.

He challenged the former President to engage in a debate if he believes he has superior solutions to offer the people of Ghana.

During a gathering in Amasaman, located in the Greater Accra Region, on Monday, September 16, Dr. Bawumia emphasized his call for a presidential debate.

This election is not about insults. It is about ideas. You only insult people when you do not have ideas…That is why I say if you believe in what you did as a former Presidemt, come let us debate one-on-one. Come let us debate if you believe in yourself. He is afraid, so he is running away…because he knows I speak with data.
