BAWUMIA IS THE PREFERRED CANDIDATE OF ALL WELL-MEANING GHANAIANS – SALAM MUSTAPHA SAYS

The National Youth Organizer of the NPP, Salam Mustapha, has expressed his belief that Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia is the preferred candidate of Ghanaians who have the nation’s best interest at heart. According to him, Dr. Bawumia has distinguished himself by offering solutions that can transform the country.

“We have a presidential candidate who is sympathetic and empathetic towards the plight of Ghanaians. He is knowledgeable and full of ideas to address the concerns of Ghanaians,” Salam Mustapha said.

Salam Mustapha made these remarks while campaigning in the Kpandai constituency, where he encouraged the youth to throw their full support behind Dr. Bawumia. He urged them to campaign vigorously, noting the pivotal role young people can play in securing an election victory.

“You are the young people who can help us win the election. We need to go all out and leave no stone unturned,” he added.

He also called on the youth to back their parliamentary candidates, specifically rallying support for Matthew Nyindam in Kpandai, who lost his seat in the 2020 election. Salam Mustapha argued that Nyindam’s defeat was due to internal disagreements among party members, despite his strong track record compared to the current NDC MP.

He stressed the importance of uniting as a party to ensure success in the 2024 elections, cautioning that their victory depends on the efforts of the party faithful.

“The only thing that is going to stop the NPP from winning the election in December is the NPP. The election we are going into, the NDC is not our problem,” he remarked.

“The NDC is not stronger than us, they are not better than us and they cannot use force to take it from us,” he added.

In a final rallying call, he warned that a loss in the upcoming elections would result in significant hardship for the party, as they would have to fight hard to regain power.

“In the very unlikely event that we lose, we are going to suffer the most. Because we are the very same people who are going to work and chase power again,” Salam Mustapha concluded.
