Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the vice president and flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has reaffirmed that, should he be elected president, he will develop a single, equitable Ghana for all.
As part of his campaign trail in the Ashaiman Constituency, Dr. Bawumia presented his vision of a Ghana where all citizens, regardless of race or religion, have an equal opportunity to achieve during a courtesy call on the Chief of the Ashaiman Ewe Community and his elders on Tuesday.
“Building one Ghana with opportunities for all is my priority,” Dr. Bawumia stated. “When I look at people, I don’t see their religion or their tribe. I see a human being like myself,” he added, reinforcing his message of unity and inclusiveness.
Dr. Bawumia urged the Ghanaian people to support him, stating that his administration will be centered on helping the weak and marginalized. He also called on the Ewe community in Ashaiman to support him.
The Ashaiman community was reassured by the Vice President that their support would not go unappreciated.
He promised that their needs would be given top priority under his direction as part of his inclusive development plan for all Ghanaians.
