Mr. Alex Kwaku Tetteh, President of Citizen Eye Ghana, has endorsed Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s digitalization agenda during his recent visit to the United States of America.
Tetteh hailed Dr. Bawumia as a visionary leader in a press release, highlighting his capacity to propel Ghana’s growth via creative policy.
Tetteh gave an explanation for his choice of Vice President, saying that he had examined the platform materials of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), the New Patriotic Party (NPP), and other contenders and concluded that Dr. Bawumia had proven to be the most intelligent of the two. He admitted to being first dubious about the planned credit card system but was won over by the cashless transactions in the United States, which inspired the 29,000 members of Citizen Eye Ghana to support Bawumia.
Tetteh talked about agriculture and emphasized Dr. Bawumia’s ideas, calling them revolutionary. He pointed out the similarities between Hon. Ken Agyapong’s and Bawumia’s methods and the enormous potential for advancement in chicken farming. Tetteh emphasized the need for funding to revitalize Ghana’s well-known poultry farms, citing Professor Kwame Gyan’s BunTaa Farms as an illustration of the industry’s unrealized potential.
Tetteh, who serves as protocol officer for the Vehicle and Asset Dealers Association of Ghana (VADAG), also praised the Vice President’s flat rate on import duties and applauded Dr. Bawumia’s suggested investment in rice production as a means of reducing imports. He mentioned that this policy had the full backing of his VADAG colleagues.
Tetteh also spoke about the media’s role in promoting a peaceful election, quoting particular passages from the NDC and NPP texts to support her need for fair and instructive coverage of party policy. He was disappointed, meanwhile, that there were no explicit regulations designed to support the media in carrying out their duties.
Lastly, Tetteh urged all candidates running for president to release a list of possible appointments so that people might evaluate their qualifications before to the election. Additionally, he alluded to a press conference that Citizen Eye Ghana will hold soon to formally declare their support for Dr. Bawumia and the NPP.
