The ballot locations for the upcoming general election on December 7th are now confirmed, and the 13 candidates vying to build on the achievements of H.E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo can now focus on their campaigns based on their ballot positions.
While ballot placement alone doesn’t guarantee success, it does provide a psychological and strategic edge. With Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer for the New Patriotic Party, positioned first, he gains increased visibility and prominence, instilling a sense of leadership that could positively influence voter decisions and facilitate campaigning for NPP parliamentary candidates.

Nana Addo, Mahama became Ghana’s only living one-term president, and Dr. Bawumia’s leadership will break the historical eight-year cycle of alternating political parties in the Fourth Republic, likely leading to Mahama’s political retirement.
