Gospel musician Broda Sammy, widely known as the Nation’s Worshipper, has publicly endorsed the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, for the upcoming elections through a newly composed campaign song titled ‘Steer’.
In the song ‘Steer’, Broda Sammy emphasizes Dr. Bawumia’s accomplishments during his two terms as Vice President, encouraging Ghanaians to elect him as the next president.
The track also acknowledges prominent NPP figures, including President Nana Akufo-Addo, Egyapa Mercer, Mark Okraku-Mantey, and Henry Quartey, among others.
During an appearance on UTV over the weekend, Broda Sammy shared that he had been approached by a major political party to create and endorse their campaign song for the elections.
He expressed his gratitude to the NPP for the opportunity, expressing excitement about being involved in their campaign.
With this endorsement, Broda Sammy joins a growing list of public figures, including Samini, who are contributing their voices to political campaigns as the December 2024 elections approach.
