NPP REVEALS PLANS FOR EVENTS TO CELEBRATE DR. BAWUMIA’S BIRTHDAY

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has unveiled a series of events to celebrate the birthday of the party’s flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia. The festivities will commence on Friday, October 4, in anticipation of the birthday on October 7.

The initial event will feature a nationwide prayer session at mosques. All regional and constituency executives, along with parliamentary candidates, are urged to oversee the activities to ensure effective coordination for a successful celebration.

Subsequently, there will be visits to Seventh-day Adventist churches and other congregations that hold services on Saturday. On Sunday, October 6, 2024, a national service will be held to invoke divine blessings for Dr. Bawumia, with all NPP members expected to participate.

To ensure the smooth execution of religious activities at every level of the party’s organisational structure, we entreat all regional and constituency executive committees and parliamentary candidates to work together with the support of all volunteer and identifiable groups in their respective regions and constituencies.

On Monday, October 7, 2024, a comprehensive nationwide campaign and canvassing initiative will take place, with members of the NPP encouraged to participate in efforts aimed at showcasing the party’s achievements and the 2024 manifesto.

The planned activities encompass the following:

1. Roadside campaigns

2. Market outreach campaigns

3. Placard displays

4. Wearing party-branded apparel

5. Campaigns at lorry and taxi stations

6. Campus outreach initiatives

7. Shopping mall campaigns

8. Community engagement in urban areas.

In addition, the National leadership has instructed all regional and constituency executive committees, along with parliamentary candidates, to collaborate across all levels of the party’s organizational framework with volunteer and identifiable groups within their respective regions and constituencies to facilitate a successful mobilization effort.
