MAHAMA OFFERS NO FRESH SOLUTIONS FOR GHANA SUPPORT THE NPP – NANA AGYEI BAFFOUR AWUAH

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Parliamentary Candidate for the Manhyia South Constituency, Lawyer Nana Agyei Baffour Awuah, has urged Ghanaians, particularly the voters in Manhyia South, to cast their votes in large numbers for him as their representative in Parliament.

He also called on them to support Dr. Mahammud Bawumia in his bid for the presidency in the forthcoming general elections scheduled for December 7. Awuah asserted that the former President and current flagbearer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, lacks innovative solutions for the nation’s future, and therefore, Ghana cannot afford to replace the NPP with his leadership.

This appeal was made during a familiarization visit to local traders as part of his door-to-door campaign initiative. During this visit, he distributed numerous party-branded T-shirts and aprons to constituents in the CPC electoral area. To date, the NPP candidate has engaged with four out of the six electoral areas within the constituency.

He has been warmly received in the areas he has visited thus far. The parliamentary aspirant articulated that the NPP, under the leadership of President Akufo-Addo and Dr. Bawumia, has successfully implemented policies such as the Free Senior High School initiative and advancements in digitalization.

He criticized Mahama for failing to present new ideas after eight years in opposition, highlighting that his proposal for a 24-hour economy aimed at promoting nightlife could potentially harm the youth.

Awuah emphasized that Mahama’s campaign offers no fresh perspectives, suggesting that supporting him would be a misstep and detrimental to the nation’s economic stability.

He reiterated that Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh are committed and prepared to serve, underscoring their readiness to lead effectively.
