YOUR CHOICE TO USE A BUS DURING YOUR CAMPAIGN TOURS IS COMMENDABLE – REV. ALEX GYEBI

The Chairman of the Local Council of Churches in Bibiani-Anhwiaso, Rev. Alex Gyebi, has praised the Vice President and presidential candidate of the NPP, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, for his transformative impact on Ghana’s political environment.

During a campaign event featuring Dr. Bawumia and local community leaders in Bibiani-Anhwiaso on Wednesday, Rev. Gyebi noted that, although Dr. Bawumia represents the ruling party, he has exhibited exceptional humility by addressing the longstanding issue of “abuse of incumbency.”

Foremost, we want to express our gratitude to Vice President Bawumia. The reason is that you have changed the narrative and we no longer see incumbent abuse.

In the past, those already in government seeking office again display opulence. But since you started your campaign from day one, you’re always in a bus. This shows that you are very modest and for changing that narrative, we thank you…You are a unique politician and if all politicians emulate you, Ghana will really progress.

Rev. Alex Gyebi offered a prayer for Vice President Bawumia and urged him to maintain his principles of humility should he ascend to the presidency.

We are grateful to you for changing something for us and I believe that if God gives you the seat you won’t disappoint us. And you’ll continue to maintain what you are doing.

Dr. Bawumia conveyed his appreciation to the clergy, imams, chiefs, and community members for their attendance and support. During his discussion with them, the NPP presidential candidate outlined his policies, detailing his plan to provide incentives to religious organizations through special import duty exemptions on materials and machinery imported into Ghana, aimed at fostering the country’s development.
