DECEMBER POLLS: NAPO URGES AFRAM PLAINS VOTERS TO BACK THE NPP FOR REAL DEVELOPMENT

The NPP’s vice-presidential candidate urged the public to rethink their voting habits and back the ruling party in the upcoming elections for continued development.

Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) vice-presidential candidate, has warned voters in Afram Plains North to reconsider their support for the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Speaking to chiefs, community members, Zongo leaders, and party supporters, NAPO stressed that voting for the NDC has historically hindered the development of Donkorkrom and the entire Afram Plains region.

He criticized the NDC for their lack of genuine commitment to the area, pointing out that the party neglects the region’s needs despite consistently receiving strong support from the constituency in previous elections.

Despite the overwhelming support the NDC has received from you over the years, they continue to neglect your needs. It’s time to change that narrative. The NPP, unlike the NDC, does not discriminate. We are a party for all, and we are committed to the development of every corner of this country, including Afram Plain

In his speech, Napo emphasized that the NPP is an inclusive party focused on the needs of all Ghanaians, contrasting it with the NDC, which he accused of discriminating against Afram Plains. He urged the community to rethink their voting choices and support the NPP in the upcoming elections for ongoing development.

As part of his campaign tour, Dr. Opoku Prempeh also inaugurated the District Road Improvement Project (DRIP) in Afram Plains North, highlighting the NPP’s dedication to infrastructure and economic growth. He encouraged voters to support Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the NPP’s presidential candidate, to sustain the region’s and the country’s developmental progress.

By voting for Dr Bawumia, you are not just choosing a leader, you are choosing progress and transformation. The District Road Improvement Project is just one example of the many initiatives we are ready to bring to this area. Let’s work together to build a better future for Afram Plains. The introduction of the DRIP machines is a clear testament to the NPP’s commitment to enhancing infrastructure, and it shows Dr Bawumia’s dedication to improving the lives of Ghanaians

The Eastern Regional Chairman of the NPP, Jeffery Ohene Konadu, and the parliamentary candidate for Afram Plains North, Anim Asiamah, also addressed the gathering, urging the chiefs and residents to support the NPP this time. They both reaffirmed the party’s dedication to delivering essential development to the area and encouraged voters to give the NPP a chance to demonstrate their capabilities.

You have trusted the NDC for many years, but where has that gotten us? It’s time for change. Let’s give the NPP a chance to show what we can do for the people of Afram Plains. The NPP is ready to transform this area. We have plans for infrastructure, education, and jobs. Vote for the NPP, and let’s work together to develop Afram Plains North
