Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the vice president and presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has received praise for his flawless record of public service and has not faced any accusations of corruption in his nearly eight years in office.
Dr. Bawumia’s impeccable reputation has been praised by Pastor Alexander King Doku of the Pursuit of God Ministries as “remarkable” and a role model for Ghana’s youth.
During a Friday ceremony held at the Islamic University College in Accra, Pastor Doku commended Bawumia’s character and described it as an uncommon accomplishment in the upper echelons of politics.
“There hasn’t been a single scandal involving him since he entered high-level politics and was appointed Vice President. This demonstrates that he is a guy of excellent integrity that this nation’s youth can aspire to be like. Because it’s uncommon, this is amazing,” Pastor Doku said.
He went on to emphasize Dr. Bawumia’s vision for leadership and challenged the youth to help him carry out his objectives for the advancement of Ghana.
“To the young people of this country, if you are looking for a leader to emulate, I think it is Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia,” he stated. “He is not only inspiring the youth, but he has also shown that he has a great vision to move Ghana forward.”
Pastor Doku underlined the significance of Bawumia’s initiatives, characterizing them as containing answers for the future of the nation, especially for the younger population.
“When you look at what has been put forward by Dr. Bawumia and his team, you’ll be excited that you’re a young Ghanaian,” he said.
