LIBERATE YOURSELF FROM THE CONSTRAINTS IMPOSED BY NDC FOR PROGRESS – SAMIRA BAWUMIA

Voters in the Ejura/Sekyedumase constituency of the Ashanti Region are advocating for the replacement of their National Democratic Congress (NDC) Member of Parliament (MP), Mohammed Bawa Braimah.

This demand follows a recent visit to the area by Hajia Samira Bawumia, the spouse of New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential candidate Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, on Sunday, October 13.

During this visit, which was intended to engage with constituents and discuss various government initiatives, dissatisfaction with the current MP’s performance emerged as a significant topic of conversation among community members.

Several residents who spoke with reporters conveyed their frustrations, indicating that their concerns have been persistently ignored by their elected representatives.

A considerable number of voters expressed their support for Gifty Ndomah of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), asserting their belief that she would be a leader who would genuinely listen to and address their needs.

We appreciate Samira coming to talk to us, but it only made us realize how much our MP has not done for us. We need someone who will fight for our community. We’ve known Gifty for quite sometime and we are convinced she has a message.

Samira’s visit was a good gesture. First I was blind but now I can see the light. Our MP has not delivered on his commitments, and it’s time for a change.

This community deserves better representation. We hope that the party will listen to our cries and consider finding a new candidate who will prioritize our needs.

Samira’s visit aimed to garner support for the NPP during an intensified week-long campaign in the Ashanti Region, which is known as the party’s stronghold.

Speaking to a gathering shortly after a health walk, the Second Lady conveyed her profound affection for the Ejura/Sekyedumase community while expressing concern over the stagnation in the constituency’s development. She urged the voters to reassess their allegiance to the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

You chose somebody to represent you in Parliament and also be an agent of development, but that has not happened. Are we moving forward or backwards? If we want to move forward, why do we allow the NDC to take us back? It shouldn’t happen this time.

With your massive votes, this is going to happen. Gifty is well-resourced to bring change to the people of Ejura/Sekyedumase.
