The Deputy Leader of the ruling New Patriotic Party, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, has expressed his strong belief that Ghanaians will choose to keep the NPP in power. Dr. Opoku Prempeh conveyed this confidence during a gathering with Chiefs and party supporters in Anum Apapam, located in the Ayensuano constituency of the Eastern Region, as part of his campaign activities within the constituency.
The Ayensuano seat is anticipated to return to the party, as the residents of Anum Apapam and surrounding areas are committed to preserving the achievements made in areas such as Free SHS, stable electricity supply, the establishment of additional schools, Agenda 111, and various other initiatives.
The people are resolute without a shred of doubt that the leader Ghana needs in this defining moment is Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia. They are not only committed to campaigning for him but they will also vote overwhelmingly in his favour and through hard work, Ida Adjoa Asiedu, is heading to Parliament on the NPP’s ticket.
Dr. Opoku Prempeh asserts that the Ayensuano constituency, in addition to the party’s established strongholds, will be instrumental in ensuring the New Patriotic Party (NPP) secures victory.
He encouraged Ghanaians to evaluate the performance records of the two principal political parties, the NPP and the National Democratic Congress (NDC), prior to making their voting decisions on December 7.
Affectionately known as NAPO, he also criticized former President John Mahama, asserting that his administration did not deliver significant achievements for the nation.
He pointed out that, in contrast to the Mahama administration, the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia government has established a solid foundation for the transformation of Ghana over the past seven and a half years, a feat that the NDC, under John Dramani Mahama’s leadership, has found challenging to replicate.
Dr. Opoku Prempeh further highlighted that the NPP has launched various social intervention initiatives aimed at addressing the fundamental needs of Ghanaians, including the Free Senior High School program, the Capitation Grant, and the School Feeding Programme.
