EVEN FISHES ARE ENTHUSIASTIC ABOUT CASTING THEIR VOTES FOR DR. BAWUMIA – YEJI PARAMOUNT CHIEF

The Paramount Chief of Yeji in the Bono East Region, Pimanim Yaw Kabrese V, has expressed confidence that the NPP flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, is well-positioned for success in the forthcoming elections, attributing this to the diligent efforts of the Akufo-Addo/Bawumia administration.

Pimanim Kabrese V emphasized that the NPP, particularly Dr. Bawumia, has made significant contributions over the past eight years, fostering development throughout the nation and enacting policies that have positively impacted the lives of many.

He is convinced that the voters, especially those within his Traditional Area, will generously support the NPP and its candidate in the upcoming December elections.

The Yeji Paramount Chief humorously remarked that even the fish in the local rivers are enthusiastic about casting their votes for Dr. Bawumia.

These remarks were made during a courtesy visit from Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to his palace in Yeji on Friday, October 18, as part of his campaign activities in the Pru East Constituency.

In expressing gratitude for the warm welcome, Dr. Bawumia highlighted that the NPP’s focus on development is integral to achieving equitable progress across the nation.

He cited concrete examples of this commitment, including the implementation of the Free SHS and Free TVET initiatives, the provision of road construction equipment to every district, and the establishment of courts in each district to enhance the administration of justice and uphold the rule of law.

Referencing the rich trading history of Yeji, Dr. Bawumia pointed out that a vital aspect of national development is the promotion of commerce. Therefore, he assured that a government led by Bawumia would prioritize the construction of a major market in every district to support trade.

We will also roll out a Women’s Trade Empowerment Fund to provide loans and other financial services to our market women to help the markets and our economy to grow.
