Richard Ahiagbah, the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) director of communications, has commended Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, calling him a capable leader who will do even more in his role as president.
Ahiagbah cited the vice president’s achievements and ambitions to urge Ghanaians to choose Dr. Bawumia in the next 2024 elections.
Between H.E. Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and John Mahama, one has served as president before, and his actions caused Ghanaians to reject him in 2016.
Although Dr. Bawumia has never held the office of president, his accomplishments as vice president demonstrate his distinction. As president, this demonstrates that he will deliver and do more,” Ahiagbah stated.
Dr. Bawumia’s 2024 election manifesto, he continued, “is well-thought-out, with policies tailored to address Ghana’s current challenges.”
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo recently reaffirmed his belief that Dr. Bawumia can succeed him as president, and Ahiagbah’s endorsement is consistent with his views.
“Competent, fit, and able to be our next president,” President Akufo-Addo said during a visit to the Northern Region, seeking support for his vice president.
According to Akufo-Addo, “If the people of Ghana agree with me and give him the chance, he will make an excellent President.” He emphasized Bawumia’s intelligence, loyalty, and leadership abilities.
Bawumia is ready to guide Ghana into the fourth industrial revolution, he underlined. The President also acknowledged Bawumia’s role in transforming the North East region and his contributions to the progress of the country, reinforcing his belief that Dr. Bawumia is the best candidate to carry Ghana forward.
