THE NPP HAS SHOWN OUR CAPABILITIES, AS A PRESIDENT I WILL ACHIEVE EVEN MORE – DR. BAWUMIA

The presidential candidate of the NPP, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has pledged to the Chiefs and residents of the Adaklu community that his administration will prioritize the implementation of additional development projects in both the local area and the broader Volta Region.

Dr. Bawumia has been engaged in a tour of the Volta Region since Sunday, with his visit to Adaklu taking place on Tuesday, October 22.

During his address to community stakeholders, which included Chiefs, Imams, clergy members, and residents, Dr. Bawumia emphasized that the current government has made significant contributions to the development of both the Adaklu community and the Volta Region since assuming office.

We have shown what we can do and a Bawumia Presidency will do more.

The Vice President enumerated several initiatives undertaken by the NPP that exceed the accomplishments of the NDC throughout its 16 years of governance during the 4th Republic.

We have brought portable drinking water to Adaklu. We have built a youth resource center and a stadium here in Adaklu. We have brought a district Police command here in Adaklu. We have built a magistrate court with a bungalow just as is done in every district. We are building an Agenda 111 hospital right here in Adaklu. So, this tells you our philosophy in economic development.

…when the NDC was in government for 16 years, they didn’t build the roads for you but we are making a lot of efforts in many areas. So, we believe that Adaklu will do better under the NPP and under Dr. Bawumia because we have shown what we can do. The evidence is clear.

We are here to solve problems. That is what government is supposed to do. You look for the problems of the people and you try to solve them. And I pride myself as a problem solver, so when I take these problems away from here, I will go and look for ways to solve them for you.

The Vice President stated that, unlike his opponent, former President John Mahama, who is limited to a single term, the Constitution allows him to serve two terms in office.

He emphasized that this provision will enable him to be more accountable to the populace and to exert greater effort in his duties, as he will be pursuing re-election. He called upon the community and the Region to support his candidacy for the presidency.
