Former General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwabena Agyei Agyapong, has expressed high praise for Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, describing him as a leader of “impeccable integrity” and asserting that he is the type of leader Ghana urgently needs.
Mr. Agyapong, who was one of ten candidates vying for the NPP’s flagbearer position alongside Dr. Bawumia, has since thrown his full support behind the Vice President’s presidential campaign.
During Dr. Bawumia’s visit to Adaklu in the Volta Region, Mr. Agyapong took the opportunity to commend the Vice President for his unblemished reputation throughout his eight years in office.
This is a man with strong personal integrity. He has served as Vice President for eight years, and no one has been able to uncover even a speck of dirt on his record. That speaks volumes about his character and dedication to service.
Mr. Agyapong stated this while addressing the chiefs and people of Adaklu.
