NPP-USA GETS FIRST TESCON BRANCH

The United States chapter of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has officially launched its inaugural Tertiary Students Confederacy (TESCON) branch at the University of Memphis.

The inauguration event was graced by the NPP’s vice-presidential candidate for the upcoming December 7 elections, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, commonly referred to as ‘Napo’ within political circles.

Additional NPP dignitaries in attendance included Lawyer Henry Nana Boakye, known as ‘Nana B’, the National Organiser of the NPP; Dr. Kingsley Agyemang, Registrar of the Scholarship Secretariat, among others.

Obaa Yaa Amponsah Frimpong, the chairperson of NPP-USA, extended her congratulations to the University of Memphis for being the first institution in the United States to establish a TESCON branch.

She urged the members of the University of Memphis TESCON branch to maintain discipline, demonstrate unwavering commitment to the NPP’s objectives, and diligently promote the party’s initiatives across the United States.

You have a unique chance to make a significant impact not just within the party, but also in your communities here in the US.

The University of Memphis TESCON members were also urged to collaborate, provide mutual support, and remain receptive to one another’s ideas and suggestions.

Reach out to your fellow Ghanaians, regardless of their political affiliations. Let us promote the values of our heritage and work towards Ghana’s growth.

The President of the University of Memphis TESCON, Kelvin Gyimah Agyei, expressed his commitment to fostering a strong work ethic and advocating for the interests of the NPP.

We must work together to uplift each other and showcase the values of hard work and discipline that our party stands for. We are here to make a difference.
