The NPP Loyal Ladies in Nkwanta South, Oti Region, have praised Vice President and presidential candidate Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for his key role in launching the District Road Improvement Project (DRIP).
This initiative seeks to revitalize the Municipality’s deteriorating road network, particularly the long-neglected Kpassa-Nkwanta road along the Eastern Corridor.
The Loyal Ladies stated that DRIP has supplied essential equipment and resources, representing a significant advancement in improving transportation infrastructure and promoting accountability for residents.
In an interview with Adom News, group leader Fuseini Ayishatu expressed appreciation for the project, describing it as a “game-changer” for local communities.
This initiative is a lifeline for Nkwanta South. The new equipment and road improvements will alleviate challenges we’ve endured for years due to poor roads, which have held back development
Other members of the Loyal Ladies highlighted the significance of strong infrastructure for community development, pointing out that improved roads would enhance access to healthcare, education, and markets, thereby elevating the standard of living in the municipality.
They encouraged residents to back the initiative by voting for Dr. Bawumia as President and Hajia Tijani Sherifa Sekyere, the NPP parliamentary candidate for Nkwanta South, in the upcoming elections to guarantee ongoing development in the region.
