NO FORCE CAN STOP IT IF THE PEOPLE’S WILL IS FOR NPP TO STAY IN POWER – OKOE BOYE

Minister of Health and NPP Parliamentary candidate for Ledzokuku, Dr. Oko Boye Minister of Health, Bernard Okoe Boye has asked the Members of Parliament to stay humble and respect their constituents.

He reminded the MPs of their mandate given to them by their constituents who gave them the power to represent them in the Legislative House.

Okoe Boye’s admonition is in connection with the current struggle by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) caucus to claim the Majority caucus following Speaker, Alban Bagbin’s declaration of the Agona West, Amenfi Central, Fomena and Suhum seats represented by their MPs who have resolved to contest the upcoming elections as independent candidate or on the ticket of another party as vacant.

Speaking on Peace FM’s “Kokrokoo” show, Dr Okoe Boye vehemently condemned the NDC side’s behavior on Tuesday, October 22 where they decided to hold a marching parade in the House.

He asked the MPs to remember their days of rigorous campaigns to win the votes of their constituents saying “when you want power, you will suffer. This is why I am shocked that someone who has suffered to gain power is doing a march pass”.

To him, the brouhaha going on in Parliament is unnecessary as he noted no matter what the NDC Minority does, the will of the people will prevail, therefore implored the MPs to cease fire and return to serious parliamentary business.

“If the will of the people is that this government should stay, no force can stop it”, he said as he advised the MPs to return to the House to deliberate on matters that will advance the economy and better the living conditions of the people
