Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer, has pledged to build a top-quality road connecting Damanko and Kassah in the Oti Region.
During his campaign in the Nkwanta North constituency, Dr. Bawumia highlighted the pressing need for enhanced road networks in the area, recognizing that reliable transportation is essential for community growth and connectivity.
He assured residents that under his administration, the construction of this road would be a top priority, aimed at facilitating transportation, boosting trade, and ensuring access to vital services that are crucial for everyday life.
Dr. Bawumia acknowledged that the demand for better roads has been a longstanding concern among locals, reflecting the frustrations they’ve faced for years.
He expressed strong confidence that his commitment to this project would directly address their needs and concerns.
Furthermore, he explained that by prioritizing infrastructure, the NPP seeks to foster economic growth and elevate living standards in rural communities across Ghana.
He reiterated his understanding of what truly matters to the people, stating that he has listened to voices from all sectors—pastors, chiefs, and imams alike—who have all emphasized the importance of these improvements for the community’s future.
I know what matters to you. Pastors, Chiefs, and Imams have all spoken, emphasizing the importance of the Damanko to Kpassa road. I know that if I have to come back in four years, I must complete this road
If I don’t fulfil this promise, you won’t vote for me again
