NKWANTA SOUTH BACKS BAWUMIA’S VISION FOR A DIGITAL GHANA

Residents of Nkwanta South in the Oti Region have warmly embraced Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s digitization policy during his campaign tour. The enthusiastic response from the community reflects a strong desire for technological progress and growth.

The Nkwanta South Municipality has been advancing in development, with local authorities prioritizing sectors like agriculture, education, and healthcare. Many residents believe that the introduction of digitization policies could further stimulate the local economy and enhance their quality of life.

As Vice President and the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) presidential candidate, Dr. Bawumia has promoted digitization as a key driver for nationwide development. During his tour, he emphasized the transformative impact of digital initiatives, highlighting their ability to boost efficiency, transparency, and access to services.

“From digital payment systems to online services, these innovations have the potential to change how businesses and individuals operate in this area,” he noted.

Additionally, Dr. Bawumia pledged to address the poor state of the Kpassa-Nkwanta road along the Eastern Corridor. He remarked that the NPP government has fulfilled significant promises, including creating the Oti Region from Volta, which he claimed shows more progress than previous administrations.

The community sees this policy direction as a positive indicator for the region’s development as the Municipality continues to grow and modernize.
