President Nana Akufo-Addo has reaffirmed his steadfast support for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, emphasizing that his vice president has consistently demonstrated loyalty and competence during their tenure in office.
During a visit to the Ahafo Region on October 29, Akufo-Addo praised Bawumia’s commitment and reliability since the inception of their collaboration in 2008.
I can’t say one wrong thing about Dr. Bawumia.
President Akufo-Addo reiterated his dedication to the advancement of Ghana and stated that Dr. Bawumia is the ideal candidate to guide the nation into the future.
He expressed his belief in Bawumia’s vision and skills, which he considers crucial for propelling Ghana towards a higher level of development.
The president also drew a comparison between Dr. Bawumia’s leadership potential and that of the opposition candidate, former President John Dramani Mahama, indicating that Mahama’s previous administration from 2012 to 2016 did not possess the transformative vision that Ghana currently needs.
President Akufo-Addo contended that Mahama is not capable of fostering the nation’s development as effectively as Bawumia. In his address to the people of Ahafo, he called upon them to demonstrate robust support for Dr. Bawumia in the forthcoming election, urging them to cast their votes overwhelmingly in favor of the vice president’s vision to ensure the nation’s continued progress.
I can vouch for his capabilities and his ability to lead the country, and I will not leave Ghana for someone who can’t do the job. God will not allow that to happen.
Dr Bawumia was the Deputy Governor of the Bank of Ghana when I brought him into politics. When I first picked him in 2008 even though we lost the polls, I kept faith with him and kept for the 2012 election which we also lost but God being so good, we won the 2016 election and I have not seen any bad thing from him since I first met him.
