NDC DOESN’T RESPECT YOU; SUPPORT THE NPP’S CONTINUED GOVERNACE – NAPO URGES BIA EAST AND WEST CONSTITUENTS

The Vice Presidential candidate for the New Patriotic Party, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, has urged voters in Bia East and West to reject the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the forthcoming elections scheduled for December 7.

He emphasized that nearly thirty years of support for the NDC has yielded minimal benefits for the constituents. During a rally held in Kaase and Debiso within the Bia East and West constituencies of the Western North Region on October 28, Dr. Opoku Prempeh remarked that the current state of development in the region does not reflect the substantial backing the NDC received from the local populace during their time in office.

After 32 years of NDC, look around you. What do we have to show for it?

This party will come to you, offering lies and false promises. I tell you, they are trying to deceive you.

NAPO has noted that the NDC has become complacent regarding the support of the region’s populace, warranting their rejection in the upcoming December elections.

He remarked that since the constituents of Sefwi Akontombra altered their voting behavior to support the NPP, they have experienced unprecedented development in the area.

He contrasted the current progress with the years of neglect and underdevelopment that characterized the tenure of NDC governments and MPs, urging the residents of the region to dismiss the recurring falsehood that the NPP is indifferent to their needs.

He asserted that the NDC lacks a genuine commitment to the advancement of Western North, advising anyone in the region who might mistakenly vote for the NDC to regard their vote as squandered. Dr. Prempeh elaborated that

We vote in elections for development, so if you vote for a political party that doesn’t have your progress at heart, then you have wasted the vote.

Mr. Joojo Rockson Obeng, the Regional Minister, stated that the government has implemented numerous initiatives to promote cocoa cultivation, recognizing it as a vital source of livelihood for the community.

He affirmed that the government will persist in its support for cocoa farmers.

NDC is not a party that should be followed by anyone.
