During a ceremony held on Wednesday, October 30, to inaugurate 430 newly promoted Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASP) at the National Police Training School in Accra, Dr. Bawumia emphasized the critical function of the police in protecting democracy and maintaining public confidence.

He praised the police for their commitment to overseeing previous elections, which have played a vital role in fostering peace and stability in Ghana.
