LAWYER CHARLES OWUSU JUANAH RALLIES SUPPORT TO DR. BAWUMIA IN THE ASHANTI REGION

Prominent international attorney and advocate for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Lawyer Charles Owusu Juanah, persistently advanced his campaign throughout Ghana over the past weekend.

As the leader of Friends of Bawumia 08, Lawyer Juanah’s fervent dedication to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and its objective of enhancing the lives of everyday Ghanaians was clearly demonstrated as he engaged with the public in the Ashanti Region, garnering support for the NPP’s presidential candidate, Dr. Bawumia, and the party itself.

On Saturday, October 26, 2024, in partnership with the Tertiary Students Confederacy (TESCON) of AAMUSTED, Lawyer Juanah spearheaded an energetic street outreach initiative that extended from the university campus through Kwadaso to Sofoline.

With a strong and compelling voice, he addressed street vendors, motorists, and passersby, vividly recounting Ghana’s political history, from the era of Dr. Kwame Nkrumah to the current Fourth Republic.

Lawyer Juanah’s discourse was enriched with historical context as he underscored the differing legacies of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

He pointed out the evolution of the NDC, tracing its origins from the Armed Forces Revolutionary Council (AFRC) to the Provisional National Defence Council (PNDC) and ultimately to the present-day NDC.

He stressed how this political faction has consistently subjected Ghanaians to economic difficulties and has deprived them of the advantages of state resources during its tenure in power.

According to Lawyer Juanah, the NDC’s legacy is marked by the privatization of State-owned enterprises to close allies, the expulsion of private businesses from the country, and, in some cases, even the loss of lives of business proprietors.

The NDC started right from AFRC, later became PNDC, and the NDC we see today. They sold state-owned enterprises to themselves, chased private businessmen out of the country, and subjected Ghanaians to unemployment.

This, he contended, represented the origin of Ghana’s unemployment crisis, highlighting a significant divergence from the policies that the NPP has advocated throughout the years. In his characteristic passion, Lawyer Juanah delineated the essential distinctions between the two political parties.

The NPP has, over the years, prioritized social intervention policies that solve social problems and provide relief to all Ghanaians, regardless of their economic status or class. The NDC, on the other hand, is more concerned with what it stands to gain, rather than working for the welfare of the people.

He encouraged his audience to acknowledge the concrete effects of the NPP’s dedication to the populace, referencing particular social initiatives that have significantly changed lives.

The next day, Sunday, October 27, 2024, Lawyer Juanah and his team directed their message towards a frequently neglected group: the leaders of local ghettos in Sofoline.

With genuine concern and understanding, he interacted with this ghetto community, emphasizing the NPP’s commitment to enhancing the lives of all Ghanaians, especially those in disadvantaged areas.

The NPP is the only political party that has the interest of the ordinary Ghanaian on the streets, like you, at heart.
