The First Lady, Rebecca Akufo-Addo, has ramped up her efforts in support of Mahamudu Bawumia, the 2024 Flagbearer for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), in anticipation of the elections scheduled for December 7 in the Greater Accra Region.
On Tuesday, Rebecca Akufo-Addo visited the Ablekuma Central and Korley Klottey constituencies to highlight the numerous positive initiatives undertaken by the NPP and to promote the appealing prospect of Bawumia’s leadership for the nation.
In a post shared on Facebook on Tuesday, November 5, Rebecca Akufo-Addo conveyed this message.
I also used the opportunity to thank them for their support in my almost 8 years as First Lady.
I continued my campaign tour today, in the Ablekuma Central and Korley Klottey constituencies to share the many positive interventions of the NPP and the attractive prospect of having Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia lead our dear nation to do even more for all Ghanaians irrespective of their political, religious or ethnic backgrounds.
I met with Queen mothers, market queens, the physically challenged, and widows and shared with them Dr. Bawumia’s vision for the nation especially young people, who are our future, and how Jefferson Sackey and Valentino Nii Noi Nortey, who are NPP’s parliamentary candidates for Ablekuma Central and Korley Klottey respectively align perfectly with this vision.
