DR. BAWUMIA HOLDS TALKS WITH CATHOLIC BISHOPS CONFERENCE

On Tuesday, November 12, 2024, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the Vice President and Flagbearer of the NPP, convened with the Catholic Bishops Conference.

This meeting took place at the Pope John Paul Formation Centre located in Ofoase Kokoben, Ashanti Region, where various matters of national significance were addressed, including the upcoming elections in December.

The delegation was headed by the President of the Catholic Bishops Conference, Most Rev Dr. Mathew Kwasi Gyamfi. Dr. Bawumia conveyed his appreciation to the Catholic Bishops Conference, sharing details of the meeting on his Facebook page.

During the meeting, Dr. Bawumia expressed his gratitude to the Catholic Bishops Conference for their continued engagement and support in national affairs.

He highlighted the importance of collaboration between the government and religious institutions in addressing societal challenges and ensuring a peaceful electoral environment.

Following the meeting, Dr. Bawumia took to his Facebook page to share insights and details about the discussions, underscoring the significance of the bishops’ contributions to the nation’s democratic processes and their commitment to the welfare of the Ghanaian people.

His post reflected a spirit of unity and cooperation, inviting all citizens to participate actively in the upcoming elections while upholding the values of peace and respect for one another.
