TEPAHENE ENDORSES DR. BAWUMIA

Vice President Dr. Bawumia received an enthusiastic reception in Tepa, located within the Ahafo North Constituency of the Ahafo Region, yesterday as he commenced his campaign activities in the area.

Upon his arrival, he was greeted by a spirited group of youth who chanted “It is possible” while displaying the number one sign, a symbol closely associated with the New Patriotic Party (NPP) during this election period.

At the palace of the Omanhene of the Tepa Traditional Area, Nana Adusei Atwenewa Ampem I, Dr. Bawumia was warmly welcomed and treated to a gracious reception.

During this visit, Nana Adusei Atwenewa Ampem expressed his belief in Dr. Bawumia’s potential to drive the nation’s progress should he be elected as president.

He noted that the accomplishments of Dr. Bawumia, who is the presidential candidate for the ruling NPP, during his tenure as Vice President serve as a testament to his capabilities.

While addressing stakeholders at his palace in Tepa, Nana Adusei Atwenewa Ampem I expressed gratitude to the Akufo-Addo-Bawumia administration for the numerous developmental initiatives introduced in the region, affirming that “Ahafoman and Tepa have received their fair share of the national cake.”

We asked for an Immigration Training School and you gave us one here, we also planned to establish a training college here and the Education Minister, Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum, has enabled us to have a university here. I want to thank him and the government very much for that.

We have also gotten a military base here and I would like to use this opportunity to express profound appreciation for all these things you have done for us.

Nana Adusei Atwenewa Ampem I, akin to the well-known character Oliver Twist, seized the opportunity to advocate for an increase in developmental initiatives, particularly in the sectors of road infrastructure and education.

He emphasized that several of these projects necessitate urgent attention and maintenance. He expressed his belief that once Dr. Bawumia assumes the presidency, he will address these needs on their behalf.

When the good Lord grants your heart desires, continue to do for us as you have always done for us.

You should not forget about some of our roads and schools which need some maintenance; we know when you come you will do it. So we fervently pray for the good Lord to help you to let your dreams come true.

When you get there, don’t forget the chiefs and people of Ahafo. So we will all support you with prayers.
